TEXAS BLUEBONNET READING PROGRAM @ Russell Library
The Texas Bluebonnet Reading program encourages children from 3rd thru 6th grade to read and explore a variety of current books. Students who read at least five from the 20 current nominees list are eligible to vote for their favorite book in January. Students at Russell are asked to complete a Comparison of Books form prior to voting. They will also receive a certificate and are eligible to participate in the Bluebonnet reception, usually held in April.
